Power and connectivity issues
Not powering on: Check the power cord is securely plugged into both the feeder and a working outlet. Test the outlet with another device. If using batteries, ensure they are fresh and installed correctly.
Wi-Fi offline: Make sure the feeder is connected to a 2.4 GHz network, not a 5 GHz one. Try separating the bands on your router or connecting to a different network.
Unreliable power: Use a feeder that has a battery backup to ensure food is dispensed during power outages.
Food and dispensing problems
Food jams: Regularly clean the food hopper and dispensing mechanism to prevent clogs. Ensure the food is dry kibble of the recommended size (usually 2-15mm) and avoid overfilling the tank.
Inaccurate portioning: Calibrate the feeder's portion settings to match your pet's dietary needs. Ensure the food is not clumping and the mechanism is free of debris.
Feeder won't dispense:
Check the power and clear any jams.
Double-press the "Down" button to manually test the motor.
Make sure the current time and feeding schedule are set correctly.Statistics: Posted by Benjamin — Sat Nov 01, 2025 7:10 am
