How safe is a powered bed
I have wanted a powered bed for a very long time, but I don't quite understand how safe and comfortable they would be for me. When I saw a very similar option at a local hospital, but since I didn't spend much time there, I couldn't feel the difference.

Re: How safe is a powered bed
Patient safety in the hospital bed is of paramount importance, especially for patients with serious illnesses that require treatment it is unlikely that a hospital will install a bed that can cause even more damage. By integrating electric actuators and linear motion technology, electric adjustable medical beds can meet a variety of design requirements and specifications, offering patients the comfort, safety and convenience they need. All beds are equipped with a 12v actuator that helps adjust any comfortable position. Most importantly, if you do it yourself, buy the right and reliable actuator, such as here and don't forget the overheat protection. Certain electronics may have duty cycle requirements to shut down after operating for a period of time to cool down and prevent burnout. Overheat protection ensures that all electronics have proper on and off times for safe operation and longer life.
