Consumption of chaga in raw form
Hi everyone! Does anyone have experience with using chaga in raw form? I heard that it is possible, but how to do it properly?

Re: Consumption of chaga in raw form
Yes, I have tried chaga in its raw form a few times. I usually make a drink similar to chaga tea, but without heating. I just cut small pieces of chaga and soak them in cold water overnight. Then I just drink this water in the morning on an empty stomach. It gives me a boost of energy for the whole day! I've also tried as an additive to salads. I just slice the chaga into thin slices and add it to a salad plate. Its texture is a little tough, but the combination of flavors is very interesting. Plus, it's a great way to get all the health benefits of chaga.

You can add chaga in its raw form to your drinks, such as tea or coffee, or use it as part of a smoothie. However, keep in mind that chaga has a rather bitter taste, so you may want to consider combining it with sweeter or more aromatic ingredients to soften the taste.
