Re: how to open VMDK files?
Personally, I use in such situations. First you need to understand what is a VMDK file? A VMDK file can be thought of as a virtual disk (disk file format) that stores all the data from the hard disk of a VMware virtual machine. These files, identified by the extension "[name].vmdk", are similar to VHD files, although they are not interchangeable. Conversions between these formats require specialized third-party converters. A VMDK file managed through VMware Virtual Disk Management can either expand as additional data is added or maintain a fixed size. In general, there are two ways to open a VMDK file (with the virtual machine enabled and disabled). You can read about these two ways in detail on their site, everything is described in a clear and understandable way, I am sure you will find a solution for you here, I highly recommend it!
