postpartum delicate moment
Hello! My sister recently gave birth and is worried about some moments, she “leaks” when she sneezes and there is a sensation of a ball when she sits. She has not yet reached the doctor to find out what is causing this and how to treat it. Maybe there are knowledgeable people here? I would be glad to receive information.

Re: postpartum delicate moment
I'm sorry to hear about your sister's probable diagnosis. A prolapsed bladder, or cystocele, can be challenging. It's important not to attempt to push the bladder back into place yourself, as this could cause more harm. Always consult with a healthcare professional for such interventions. Treatment options include pelvic floor exercises, a pessary device, or surgery, depending on the severity. To prevent further complications, she should avoid heavy lifting, manage constipation, and practice pelvic floor exercises. For more detailed information, you can refer to this article on which provides helpful tips on managing and preventing the worsening of a prolapse.
