How do you solve the verification issue without your number?
Guys, tell me how you get around the need to provide your phone number when registering on different sites? It's especially annoying when you just want to try a service, and they immediately tell you - give me your number. Is there a way to get verification codes without linking them to your number? Preferably for free and without registration.

I had a similar situation. I wanted to create a second account on one platform, but I didn't want to show my main number. I wonder if there are any working options without any shady schemes?

Yes, I also don't like to give away my number, especially on obscure websites. I've been using services like for a long time now - it's a real lifesaver! For example, the same receive-sms.io does a great job: you go in, choose a number from the list of countries, and that's it, you can receive codes. Free, fast, no binding to yourself. For one-time tasks - an ideal option.
