Is there any chance of winning in sports betting...
...if you don’t actually know much about the sport?
I’m not an expert, not a sports fan, I’m more just someone who's interested in sports betting. I get that betting shouldn’t be treated like a way to make money, but still, I’m curious if I can actually be successful at it even if I don’t really know the sport that well.

I think it’s totally possible now. There are tons of ready-made predictions, accumulator bets, and all sorts of stuff that can help you decide on your bets. After that, it’s kind of up to luck.

Knowing and understanding a certain sport does help. It just makes it easier to get the hang of things, figure out the teams and all that. But even if you know a sport super well, that won’t protect you 100% from a bad bet. That said, yeah, there are some really good bookies out there now, even newer ones like , that give you enough ready-made info to place a bet even if you don’t know the sport that well.

Should you use progressive betting systems like Martingale, and can they really help increase your winnings, or is it more of a risky approach?

Progressive betting systems, like , are really attractive because they promise to compensate for losses by increasing the size of the bet after each loss. However, this approach is very risky, because with a long series of failures you can quickly exhaust your bankroll or reach the betting limit, which will lead to significant losses. Most experienced players recommend using these systems very carefully or avoiding them altogether, because they do not change the probability of events, but only increase the risks. It is better to combine smart bankroll management with in-depth analysis of events and prudent betting.
