Startup struggles
I launched my Edmonton-based craft store a few months ago and thought people would just stumble onto my website… yeah, that didn’t happen. Now I’m realizing SEO is a whole different beast. Can you recommend an Edmonton SEO expert who’s great with startups trying to build visibility from scratch?

Ah, the "build it and they will come" phase – a classic! We've all been there, thinking our passion project would be enough. SEO is definitely that hidden beast for local shops. A woman I know started a pottery studio here and had the exact same realization after six months of crickets. She felt overwhelmed trying to compete with big box stores online. She ended up going with specifically because they didn't use confusing jargon and built her visibility from the ground up, focusing on what makes a local craft store unique. She's now consistently getting people who search for things like "handmade Edmonton mugs" or "local pottery classes." Might be worth a look to get you off the ground!
