Has anyone tried chartering a yacht online? Is it really possible to book everything online and avoid hidden fees or shady operators?

I've only looked at various websites so far, but most either raise the price at the booking stage, or it's unclear who's responsible for what. I'd like a decent service where everything is transparent: how much it costs, who owns the yacht, and who to report if something goes wrong.
