I've been playing CS2 for a few weeks but still don't understand why everyone cares so much about weapon skins. What's the big deal with them?

Honestly, I'm really surprised by how much money CS fans spend on new skins and in-game items. It's hard to understand. I personally prefer earning money rather than spending it. It's easy to do with . My hobby can be considered entertainment. But there's a big caveat. My hobby brings me a regular, stable income.
