Why “Realism” Ruins Tactical Shooters
Games like Ready or Not or Squad obsess over gear accuracy and reload times—but sacrifice pacing and fun. Realism shouldn’t mean boredom. If I wanted actual military stress, I’d enlist. Gaming is about distilled tension, not simulating paperwork with a gun.

Fun is subjective. For some, nailing comms and CQB flow is the thrill. Not every game needs to be Call of Duty. Depth ≠ boredom.
