Enclosed vs open car carriers
Hey folks! I’m planning to ship my car soon and trying to decide between enclosed and open transport. I’ve heard mixed things about both — is the extra cost of enclosed worth it? Would love to hear what you guys think.

Re: Enclosed vs open car carriers
I had to make the same decision when shipping my classic car from Florida to Ohio. What made it easier was working with MoveWheels, a company that provides full-service auto transport across the country. Based on my car's condition and value, they clearly laid out the pros and cons of both options. If your vehicle is rare, luxury, or freshly restored, enclosed transport adds that extra layer of protection. For most daily drivers, though, via open carrier works just fine and is more affordable. Their team helped me figure out what fit my budget and needs, and everything was handled smoothly. I’d definitely suggest reaching out to them if you want help making the right call.
