How do large restaurants handle cleaning?
Sometimes it’s hard enough for me just to clean my small apartment. I’m lazy, tired, I just don’t feel like it, I don’t have time, I’m in a rush, and so on. At the same time, nobody’s stopping me from putting it off for a couple of days or even skipping cleaning for a whole month. Restaurants, as far as I know, get cleaned every day. They have standards, requirements, and everything else. Does one cleaning team really handle all of that?

I really hope it’s not just one or two people, but an actual full team working in shifts and getting paid well, because I imagine it’s not easy to keep a place clean when there’s such a high volume of people coming through, plus all the cooking.

Just remember that a restaurant is cleaned by a full team, while at home it’s just you. Or maybe one other person if you don’t live alone. There’s one team for the restaurant’s daily cleaning. For deep cleaning, they often bring in a cleaning service, for example, . At home, you’re basically doing the same thing, just without calling in a cleaning company. There are the things you do every day, like washing dishes, wiping the table, vacuuming. Then there’s the deep cleaning once a month. Honestly, I think I only do that about twice a year.
