What decides a prediction
What decides a prediction: stats from lots of matches or some current data like player form?
Stats seem to say a lot, because they show how a team has played over a long time. On the other hand, current form shows what a team is capable of right now.

My impression is that both matter. I don't think you can predict anything based on just one criterion. You always have to take into account as many factors as possible for a more accurate result.

Re: What decides a prediction
Stats, and especially long-term ones, are for me like an answer to the question of what usually happens. Current team form is about what might happen right now. Football Correct Score helps me, where you can see which outcomes are most common in a league. And what's definitely not worth betting a lot on, and what will quite likely bring me some income. Which is not a match prediction, but more of a helper for not overrating rare scenarios.
