AWL loans are subject to conditions and not all applicants will qualify. Loans are not available in all states. New clients must be able to meet the general eligibility requirements for underwriting approval. The AWL is owned and operated by the Otoe Missouria Indian Tribe ("The Tribe") and was conceived as part of the tribe's economic development program. AWL proceeds fund tribal community programs, including senior care, education, after-school programs, housing and infrastructure improvements, and community safety.
