It was explained: You don;t owe anything until your due date. Your statement closing date will always be on this date, and payment date will be the date before that date.. the month after (told you that I might confuse you, but...) My closing date was the 21st of this month, and my payment date is the 20th of March (don't have to worry about whether it is a leap year, or not.
