Hello! Having chronic back pain due to my desk job, I turned to yoga for relief. Starting with the , I gradually advanced to the deeper upward facing dog pose. It demanded strength and flexibility. When my legs, thighs, and the tops of my feet hovered above the mat, I felt a surge of energy through my body. My shoulders remained relaxed, my arms strong and extended. It was as if I was shedding the burdens of the past, rising above the pain that had held me captive for so long.
