No responses after applying to remote jobs
I’ve been applying for remote jobs for months, but I barely get any responses. My background is in customer service, I have years of experience, and I thought remote roles would be an easy transition. But even for jobs where I meet all the requirements, I never hear back. What am I doing wrong?

Re: No responses after applying to remote jobs
Remote jobs are super competitive right now, so even qualified candidates struggle. One thing that really helps is showing that you have the skills to work independently—companies want to know you can manage your time and stay productive without supervision. Are you emphasizing that in your applications?

I mention it briefly, but maybe not enough. I usually just focus on my experience and relevant skills. I try to write a cover letter when required, but I never know what to say, so it’s pretty basic. Do you think that could be part of the problem?

Definitely! Cover letters are especially important for remote jobs because they show your communication skills and ability to work independently. If writing them is a struggle, check out https://coverlettergenerator.ai/. It helps craft strong, tailored cover letters that highlight exactly what hiring managers are looking for. I started using it, and I finally started getting callbacks!
