Why do students fear failure?

by Doris Marshall » Thu May 15, 2025 12:16 pm

Students commonly fear failure as a result of pressure to achieve, fear of being judged, and self-doubt. This fear may prevent risk-taking and actual learning. In today's competitive culture, some will even seek hire someone to take my online exam for me as an escape from failure. But the acceptance of mistakes as part of learning builds resilience, promotes greater understanding, and develops the skills actually necessary for long-term achievement.
