Where to understand CS2 role-based gameplay better?
I’m trying to improve my CS2 game by playing a consistent role, but I don’t really understand what’s expected from an entry fragger, support, or lurker. Most guides just give generic tips. Is there a better way to learn how each role works in current meta?

Yeah, everyone says “pick a role” but never explains what each one actually does in detail.

If you’re looking to dive deep into the roles in CS2, especially how they’ve evolved from CS:GO, the cs2 wiki is where I’d start. It offers dedicated pages for each role, explaining their objectives, common mistakes, and even recommended loadouts and movement paths. For example, entry fraggers get tips on clearing angles with new utility timings, while supports learn how to control tempo with flashes and smoke combos. The wiki even includes pro-play examples that illustrate how roles operate on different maps. I used it to shift from random solo queue chaos to playing a defined support role, and now I communicate better and actually know when I should lead or bait. It’s not a gimmicky guide—it’s structured like a coaching resource.
