I am asking about internships in finance
I am asking about internships in finance because I feel like I missed the boat. I don't have "big connections" or letters of recommendation from famous professors, but I have a genuine desire to learn and work. Does it make sense to start sending out resumes in the middle of summer if all the big banks have already completed their selection? Are there any small financial firms or startups that are looking for interns all year round?

Re: I am asking about internships in finance
When I was looking for an internship in finance at university, the ideal timing had long passed. But the article on collegerecruiter.com really inspired me: it turns out that you can still find an option even in the summer. I reviewed my resume and opened a couple of inconspicuous vacancies - applied, and a week later I already had an invitation! It is important not to panic and not rush in at the last minute.
