I work in a startup as a team leader, and my task
I work in a startup as a team leader, and my task is not only to maintain the team's productivity, but also to inspire employees who often experience burnout and doubts. Reading the article, I wondered what leadership qualities can help in creating an emotionally stable environment. Tell me, what skills should I focus on in order not only to retain, but also to motivate people in difficult moments?

Re: I work in a startup as a team leader, and my task
I come from the IT industry, and you know, there are often excellent specialists there, but weak managers. Simply because leadership is not about skills, but about relationships. And recently I argued with a friend: he believes that a leader is primarily charisma. I am sure that everything is more complicated. And to confirm my point of view, I sent him this article:

A very balanced view: from empathy to discipline. It is easy to read, but leaves the feeling that you have completed a mini-course. And yes, my friend agreed - being a leader is working on yourself, and not just "being charismatic."
