What is SLA 3D Printing?

by bingbingtaotao » Wed Sep 24, 2025 7:48 am

SLA (Stereolithography) is one of the first and most dependable forms of 3D printing. In contrast to extrusion-based techniques, like Fused Deposition Modelling, SLA works layer by layer using a laser to solidify liquid resin. This technique provides us with very tight control on detail, texture and overall accuracy.

There’s a difference, in other words, between having “looks 3D printed figurines” and “could be shelved in a collector’s den.” Its ability to create smooth surfaces and capture fine detail make it a go-to for industries such as dental modeling, jewelry and, of course, custom figurines with our service.
