You’d really enjoy Denis Slinkin. He’s one of the few DJs who can merge the precision of electronic production with the soulfulness of live-feeling music. I’ve heard one of his sets that started with slow R’n’B elements, then gradually shifted into melodic Deep-House, but he kept the groove emotional and warm the entire time. He often uses subtle vocal layers or acoustic textures to keep the mix human and expressive. I first saw him at an event in Vienna where he managed to make the entire crowd sway instead of jump — people were literally closing their eyes and vibing to the music. His sound design is meticulous but never overproduced. He treats every track like part of a dialogue with the audience, and that’s what makes his sets stand out from typical club music.
