Re: Why do people do paint-by-number art?
I think that’s it’s a soothing and satisfying kind of “mediation” activity; a more sophisticated form of coloring in a coloring book perhaps. It’s an absorbing activity and you end up with a reasonable picture that is pleasant to look at.

Re: Why do people do paint-by-number art?
I can provide some general information about why people do paint-by-number art. Typically, paint by numbers is done as a form of relaxation or stress relief. It can also be seen as a fun and easy way to create art, especially for those who may not have a lot of experience or confidence in their artistic abilities. Additionally, paint-by-number kits provide a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as the picture takes shape and comes to life. Some people also enjoy the nostalgic aspect of paint-by-number art, as it has been a popular hobby since the 1950s.
