Thinking about renting a Mercedes or similar luxury car for my Dubai vacation. Is it worth the extra money or should I just get a regular sedan?

Luxury cars make the trip more memorable if you can afford it but they're not necessary for getting around. The roads in Dubai are great for driving nice cars with smooth highways and good conditions. I rented an upscale vehicle last time and enjoyed it but cost was triple what a regular car would've been. Looking at options for Mercedes car rental in Dubai helped me compare prices and see what was included like insurance and mileage limits. Deposits are higher for luxury vehicles usually around 2000-3000 dollars on credit card. Fuel costs more too because these cars drink gas faster especially if you're driving spirited. If it's a special occasion or you really love cars then go for it but for practical transport regular rentals make more financial sense
