Planning a Business Trip from London to Geneva

by MossCircuit » Tue Oct 13, 2026 7:22 am

I may need to travel from London to Geneva for work, and I’ve been thinking about how to make the trip fit around a busy schedule. Sometimes the meeting itself is only a few hours, but travelling there and back can take up a much larger part of the day. I’m looking at different transport options and trying to understand when it makes sense to prioritize flexibility over price. Private flights are one possibility I want to learn more about, although I’d need to consider airport transfers, departure times and the overall cost as well. For anyone who has planned a similar business trip, what would you compare before choosing how to travel?

I’d start by checking how fixed your meeting times are and whether you need to return to London the same day. Commercial flights may work well if their schedules match your plans, while private aviation can be worth researching when a more tailored departure time is important. I found this page while comparing travel options for the route: https://rentjet.eu/routes/london-to-geneva/. It provides a useful starting point for looking into private jet travel between London and Geneva. I’d still compare the full cost, available departure times, airport locations and ground transport before reaching a conclusion. The best choice depends on your itinerary, budget and how much time you can afford to spend travelling.

Thanks! I’ll compare the schedules and total journey costs first, especially if I need to make the trip within a single day.
