Hi, I am new to the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Can someone explain exactly how blockchain works? I've heard of it, but I don't fully understand how it all functions.

Blockchain is a decentralized data storage technology used in cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. The basic idea is to create a chain of blocks, where each block contains a set of transactions. These blocks are linked together using cryptography to ensure data integrity and security. When a new transaction occurs, it is added to a new block, which is then attached to the existing chain. In this way, blockchain provides transparency, reliability, and no need for centralized control. If you want to go deeper into the topic, I recommend reading this article https://www.aspirantsg.com/blockchain-technology/. There you'll find a detailed explanation and examples of blockchain applications.
