NAICS Codes Explained is a guide or explanation of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. NAICS is a coding system that is used to classify different industries for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and reporting statistical data. Each industry in the NAICS system is assigned a unique code that consists of numbers. These codes are used mainly in North America (USA, Canada and Mexico) to standardize statistical and economic information.
