Hey folks, I need some advice. I'm thinking about removing the popcorn texture from my ceiling, but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

I've done some minor stuff, but nothing as extensive as removing popcorn texture. ve heard conflicting advice about whether to wet the ceiling first or not. And then there's the scraping part... sounds like a workout! You know what i personally think?
