Modern technologies for language learning

by Maximuus » Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:59 pm

What do you think about GPT chat? My friend recently paid for a subscription to GPT chat to have access to voice communication. I’ve heard that many people are using this option now to improve their level and practice spoken English and other languages. Could this really be an effective way to learn languages?

Why not? I think at the very least, it would be very convenient to improve speaking skills. After all, not everyone has foreign friends. And getting to know new people on social media may not be comfortable for everyone, and it’s not always safe.

I don’t see GPT chat as a good solution for language learning. As practice—why not? But it’s also worth noting that GPT chat can make mistakes. If we consider various modern technologies and english ai tools, it’s better to rely on proven chats offered by platforms and apps for online language learning. I think in that case, you can really talk about effective learning.
