What is the best browser for web scraping?

by Samurai » Mon Dec 30, 2024 5:45 pm

I've decided to get into web scraping and want to find the most suitable browser for this task. What browsers would you recommend for automatic data collection from websites? Speed, support for extensions and stability are important.

For web scraping, I would recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Both browsers support many useful extensions such as Scraper, Data Miner and Web Scraper.

Yes, Chrome and Firefox are good in their own way, and it is because of the numerous plugins and the fact that you can create different profiles with your own settings. But still it is not enough for web scraping. It is better to use more advanced browsers for this kind of work. Here is a review of Nstbrowser https://cross-browser.org/reviews/nstbrowser-complete-review/
