Is it worth getting a gambling license in Comoros?

by laura32 » Tue Sep 16, 2025 12:19 pm

Hello everyone! I am currently considering different options for obtaining gambling license, and I unexpectedly learned about Comoros. To be honest, I had never even thought about this region before, but I read that it seems to have favorable conditions for a start. Someone says that the registration process is faster than in other jurisdictions, and that taxes there are minimal. But at the same time, I have doubts: how reliable and safe is it for business? Will it turn out that a license from Comoros will be less authoritative for clients?

Good question. In fact, a license from Comoros is a completely working and profitable solution, especially if you look at Anjouan. This is a key jurisdiction in the region, where very clear and transparent rules have been created for operators. Many companies choose this option because there are no taxes on gross revenue from games, and the procedure for obtaining a license itself takes only about three months. This is much faster than in Europe. Plus, you do not need to register a company locally and you can work with different payment systems. If you want to learn more, I recommend looking at https://www.fintecharbor.com/comoros-gaming-license/ — all the benefits and costs are described there. For a startup, this is a great option, because the conditions are flexible, and the regulation is strict enough to inspire confidence in players.

I think it all depends on what markets you are going to work in. For some countries, a license with Anjouan can be a great solution, for others, customers will respond better to more well-known jurisdictions like Malta or Curacao. In any case, the option is not bad if the goal is to quickly start and test the project, and then think about expansion.
