Hello everyone, although I've been making an effort, I'm still not quite sure how flip flops relate to digital technology. I know they are important in sequential circuits and are used to store binary data, but I find it puzzling when I read about SR, JK, D, and T flip flips. What distinguishes flip flops from simple latches, and why are there so many different kinds needed? Furthermore, how do these variations function practically in actual circuits?
