Why do bookies often block successful players?

by slev1111n » Wed Feb 05, 2025 2:51 pm

Honestly, I’m not sure about this whole “bookies block successful players” thing. Maybe I just wrote the title to grab attention. But is this real? Do bookies actually avoid successful bettors? Let’s talk about it.

I’ve heard of that happening. But I doubt a bookie will restrict someone just because they won 4-5 times in a row. Only if you're winning consistently, which is pretty rare.

Until recently, I had no idea bookmakers could restrict or even block successful players. I imagine you’d have to be ridiculously successful—like, out of this world—but still, it feels weird to me. Honestly, I think blocking successful bettors is a move by shady bookmakers or unreliable platforms that can’t handle their losses. Reputable ones, like 1xbet, which offer transparent conditions, bonuses, and promo codes like 1xbet-promo-nigeria.com, value their reputation and don’t resort to such practices. So yeah, it’s also on us to choose trustworthy platforms from the start.
