Truck Engine Cooling Parts

by laura32 » Wed Mar 12, 2025 7:12 pm

Guys, I need help! I have a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia, 15-liter engine. Recently I noticed that the engine temperature began to rise above normal, especially on hills. I changed the antifreeze a month ago, I do not see any leaks, the fan is working, but the engine still heats up more than usual. Maybe the radiator is clogged? Or the thermostat is no longer coping? Has anyone encountered something like this? Where is the best place to get spare parts?

Most likely, either the thermostat is sticking, or the radiator is really clogged. Check if there are any deposits inside. It also happens that the pump is pumping weaker. If you want quality spare parts, I recommend HD ProParts https://hdproparts.com/. They have a huge selection of radiators, thermostats and pumps for trucks. The main thing is that they sell proven parts - I myself bought a radiator for Kenworth from them, the difference is noticeable. You can quickly select spare parts by model, delivery all over America. Don't delay this, overheating is a dangerous thing and can lead to engine repairs.
