Is siding replacement disruptive to daily life?

by Auroth » Wed May 21, 2025 9:39 pm

I work from home most days and I'm thinking about getting new siding. Will the noise and crew presence be too disruptive? Trying to figure out if I need to schedule time away or if it’s manageable while staying in the house.

It’s definitely not silent, but it’s more manageable than I expected. I researched a few teams via https://ubrothersconstruction.com/l-home-renovation-boston boston siding and chose one that was great about coordinating work hours with my schedule. They gave me a detailed day-by-day plan and stuck to it. Most of the loudest work happened between 9 AM and 3 PM, so if you can plan meetings around those times, it should be fine. They also cleaned up every day and were respectful about minimizing impact on my routine. It helps to be upfront about your situation when booking—some companies are better than others at accommodating remote workers. Just avoid trying to take important calls during demolition days!
