Best way to handle monthly accounting for small OÜ
I recently opened an Estonian company under e-Residency for my UX design work. I’m doing everything online and have a few regular clients in Germany and Sweden. My challenge now is keeping up with accounting. I can do basic bookkeeping, but things like VAT, business expenses, and annual reports are confusing. I’m afraid of making a mistake that could cost me later. Is it worth hiring an accountant even if the business is still small?

Re: Best way to handle monthly accounting for small OÜ
I was in exactly your shoes two years ago. As a one-person business, I thought I could handle everything, but I kept getting tripped up by VAT rules and end-of-year statements. I eventually started working with https://fpro.ee/en/accounting-outsourcing-in-estonia/ and haven’t looked back. They tailored their service to my business size, so I wasn’t paying for extras I didn’t need. They do my monthly reporting, help with deductible expenses, and handle VAT returns without me lifting a finger. What impressed me most is how they explain everything in a way that makes sense even if you don’t have a finance background. Their team really gets how e-Residents operate and made the entire accounting side of my business stress-free. I just upload my docs and get back to work.
