Why Surfing Is My Favorite Outdoor Workout
I’ve always loved being outdoors, but nothing has challenged and inspired me quite like surfing. I started with one of Aqua Surf’s surf camps, and it was such a fun, energetic way to learn the basics while meeting like-minded people.
After camp, I began taking regular surf lessons, which really helped me improve my balance, timing, and paddle strength. The best part is how much of a full-body workout it is—you’re building core strength, upper body power, and cardio endurance all at once.
I don’t always bring my own board, so having surfboard rentals near me is a lifesaver. It makes getting in the water easy, even on short notice.
