Does the USPS still offer fax services?

by DavisAce » Mon Nov 03, 2025 3:51 pm

I need to fax a few forms today, and the post office is the most convenient place nearby. I tried checking online, but there’s a lot of conflicting info about whether USPS still provides faxing. Can someone confirm if it’s still available?

Some USPS branches still do, but it depends on your location. Smaller offices may not have fax machines anymore, while larger ones sometimes still do. I called ahead and found a main branch that charged about $2 per page. If you want to see which post offices still provide faxing, there’s a helpful article on https://orngjce223.net/ that explains how USPS faxing works in 2025. It even includes a checklist of what to ask before you go, like cost, available hours, and whether they can receive faxes too.
