How do stretch tents handle strong winds in LA, California?
Last month I hosted a small outdoor event near the beach in LA, California, and we had some strong winds that made our regular canopy flap like crazy. It got me wondering how stretch tents handle windy weather, especially around coastal areas. Do they really stay stable, or do they need extra support? Thinking about getting one for a bigger event later this year.

I’ve actually dealt with that exact problem when setting up for a food market in LA, Los Angeles, California https://www.stretch-tent.net/shop last spring. We switched from traditional pop-up tents to stretch tents, and the difference was huge. Stretch tents have a flexible structure and multiple anchor points that make them much more resistant to wind. Ours stayed perfectly stable even when the breeze got strong in the afternoon. The setup takes a bit longer, but once it’s up, it’s super solid and still looks great.
