Staying sharp when courses close
What’s everyone doing to keep their swing in shape when courses are closed for months? I tried foam balls in the living room, but it’s just not the same. I need something that feels more structured.

I used to struggle with that too, until I decided to practice at home properly. I bought a full system from shopindoorgolf that includes a launch monitor, impact screen, and hitting mat. The feedback after each shot — launch angle, carry distance, spin rate — gives you a clear picture of what to fix. You can load up virtual courses and still feel like you’re competing. It’s way better than just hitting into a net because it keeps you focused with real stats. I set a few weekly targets for ball speed and accuracy, and it’s kept me motivated through the winter. I came back to spring golf more consistent than ever.

That’s exactly what I need — some kind of measurable routine. I always lose tempo after long breaks and then spend a month relearning it.
