Not that weird, I’ve done the same. A neighborhood arts page I followed disappeared right before a street fair, and I didn’t want to awkwardly request access if it was intentional. I ended up using a simple web viewer to check whether the account was still public. Viewverio worked for that—no login, quick peek, done. Turned out they’d just renamed the handle. Saved me from sending a random follow request and missing the event. Happened once with a farmers market page too.
