Do I even need a proxy server for work?

by slev1111n » Thu Dec 25, 2025 10:10 am

In general, I’ve only used vpns. But only to bypass blocked sites and social networks. Maybe that will be enough for work too. And the proxy will just turn out to be an unnecessary tool.

I might be wrong, but as far as I know vpns aren’t that great specifically for work. I don’t know what you’re doing, but if it’s multi-accounting, testing marketing strategies, and stuff like that, a vpn probably won’t handle it.

It all depends on your work tasks and needs. A proxy is definitely needed if you are doing multi-accounting, which is common in marketing, parsing, arbitrage, or advertising in general. Good quality proxies that are not blacklisted, which you can try and buy on this site, allow you to bypass regional blocks and keep your privacy. But I would not spend money on proxies if you are just using the internet for basic browsing. For personal use, a decent vpn is enough.
