How can construction companies in Saudi Arabia improve cost
Hi everyone. I work in a construction company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and one of our biggest ongoing problems is cost visibility during active projects. At the planning stage, budgets look clear, but once construction starts, it becomes difficult to track how actual expenses compare to planned costs in real time. Procurement, subcontractor payments, and site expenses are often reported separately, which makes it hard to see the full picture.
Management frequently asks for updated cost reports, but by the time the data is collected and consolidated, it’s already outdated. We rely heavily on Excel and manual inputs, which feels risky as the number of projects grows. I’m wondering if a construction-focused ERP can realistically improve cost visibility in KSA, or if this is just another theoretical benefit.
