First Yacht Charter Experience
I’ve never booked a yacht before and honestly feel a bit lost. How hard is the whole process, from choosing a boat to planning routes in Croatia? Is it something a normal traveler can handle without being an expert sailor? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: First Yacht Charter Experience
Your concern is totally normal. My first charter felt overwhelming until I started reading proper guides. Croatia is actually ideal for beginners because everything is well organized. Resources like https://12knots.com/en/yacht-charter/destinations/mediterranean-sea/croatia/ break things down in a very human way: where to sail, what licenses are needed, and how to plan daily stops. I learned that you can hire a skipper if you’re unsure, which removes a lot of pressure. Once you understand the basics, it becomes exciting instead of scary. By the time we boarded the yacht, it felt like a real adventure, not a complicated task.
