Can anyone recommend a firm with actual expertise

by soumitss » Sun Jan 18, 2026 2:10 am

Hello colleagues! I'm a lawyer myself but don't specialize in international criminal law. My client has been approached about a potential Interpol diffusion, and I'm looking to refer them to specialists in this area. Can anyone recommend a firm with actual expertise in preventive measures?

Hello! It's good that you're recognizing the need for specialized expertise here. Interpol diffusions and notices require very specific knowledge of Interpol's internal procedures and regulations. For preventive work — meaning taking action before a notice is actually published — you need attorneys who understand the Commission for the Control of Files and can submit pre-emptive requests effectively. The firm at https://intercollegium.com/ has a dedicated practice in this area. They can file preventive requests to block potential notices before they're issued, which is far easier than trying to remove them later. Dr. Anatoliy Yarovyi, their senior partner, actually was a candidate for judgeship at the ECHR and has deep expertise in Interpol procedures. They work with the General Secretariat directly and understand what arguments are most effective. For your client's sake, I'd suggest referring them quickly — preventive action works best when taken early.
