Hey guys, I was talking to my cousin about his treatment plans, and something came up. Does anyone know how long rehab usually lasts? He’s trying to get his life back on track, but we’re both clueless about what to expect. I don’t want to push him to dive into something without knowing the commitment.

That’s a good question. Rehab can vary depending on a bunch of factors, like the type of addiction, personal needs, and the program itself. I’ve heard some places do 30 days, but others might be a few months or even longer. It really depends on the person and the approach they choose. If your cousin is open to it, getting into a structured program is a solid move, but yeah, the timeline can be different for everyone.

Definitely agree . If you’re looking for solid info, there’s a good article on it. It explains the different rehab lengths and what can influence them. Rehab isn’t one-size-fits-all, so it’s important to get a clear picture. You can check out more about it in this piece I found at https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/rehab-blog/how-long-is-rehab/ It helped me understand what my brother was going through when he went to rehab. The details gave us a heads-up on what to expect, which made the process a bit less daunting for the whole family.
