Feeling a different kind of curiosity about my friend

by KBerg » Wed Oct 30, 2024 8:38 am

Alright, so this is kinda personal, but here goes. I’ve got this friend, and we've been super close for years. Lately, though, I’ve found myself looking at her in a different light. I’m curious to see her without any barriers, you know? It’s more of a curiosity thing than anything else, but I don’t want to make her feel weird or mess up our friendship. Anyone been through this? Like, how do you even bring it up without it getting awkward?

That’s a tricky situation for sure. I had a friend where there was definitely some curiosity, and it can be tough to figure out what’s appropriate. I came across this website that talks a lot about understanding and respecting boundaries while exploring deeper connections. It’s worth checking out—they give some good advice on how to keep things natural if you’re unsure. Maybe it’ll help you think through whether or not this is something to pursue with her.

Honestly, these things can be so different depending on the people involved. I’d say go slow and really think about why you want this, especially if you’re close. Friendships are precious, so it’s best to keep respect at the core. Sometimes just understanding your own feelings better is enough without actually acting on it.
